DESCRIPTION:I am excited to announce that the next Fleur + Forage Free Clinic training will be happening on March 8th-10th\, 2024. The training will take place in person at the Fleur + Forage Herbal Studio. The time commitment is from 6-9PM on Friday the 20th (this will happen over GoogleMeets)\, and 10AM-5PM on Saturday and Sunday.  \nOver the weekend\, we will go through the Fleur + Forage Free Clinic manual\, covering the different protocols and types of set-ups we may encounter and how they support an integrative approach on both the emotional and physical well being of the clients we see. DESCRIPTION:We will be setting up the free mobile and herbal clinic at the Heck.house on November 5th from 2-5PM. The free clinic is staffed with local herbalists and all the herbal preparations are made by myself and apprentices. Visitors sit with one of the herbalists for about 20 minutes so that the herbalist can help the visitor get the herbal support they need.  We offer herbal tinctures\, salves\, teas\, herbal shakers\, herbs for teeth and feet\, and aromatherapy support. Providers will also be offering Reiki and Mindfulness Meditation. We will also a crew member host a Fire Cider demo.\nThe event will take place outside\, in case of rain we will set-up under the pavilion. \nParking is on one side of Milton Street. \nThe services are offered free of charge.

DESCRIPTION:On September 23rd\, 2023\, I will be throwing a distillation festival with Sue McCoy in honor of the Fall Equinox. There will be several distillations\, using copper stills\, going at once; local nurseries selling their plants; live music; local vendors; a tarot reader; popsicles; and herbal tea and shrubs.\nThe event is free to enter.  All the hydrosols will be mixed together to create the “Fall Equinox” Blend. SUMMARY:Monthly Herb Cart @ Mercy Community Church
DESCRIPTION:Through our monthly herbal clinic and pop-ups\, we focus on providing care for marginalized populations in Atlanta and the surrounding neighborhoods. Our remedies consist of a mix of herbal preparations\, supplements and foods. All the herbal remedies are made in house by several local herbalists\, including apprentices and practicing herbalists.\n \nWe will be setting up the Free Clinic every last Thursday of the month\, except for July\, at Mercy Community Church through November 2023. Alongside the Herb Cart other services are offered: Reiki\, chair massage\, acupuncture\, and art/mindfulness groups. The Harriet Tubman Foot Clinic will set-up alongside us. Everyone is welcome. All services are free of charge.

SUMMARY:Community Medicine Making-Salves
DESCRIPTION:The Community Medicine Making Workshops take place four times a year. Each workshop will focus on a different herbal preparation skill: teas\, tinctures\, salves and fire cider. The herbal preparations  we prepare in class will be used for the Fleur + Forage Free Clinic. On August 19th\, we will make salves. \nThe class will take place at the Fleur + Forage Herbal Studio in Kirkwood. \nThe cost is $20 donation that will go towards purchasing the herbs and supplies to make the remedies. SUMMARY:Free and Mobile Clinic at Heck.house
DESCRIPTION:We will be setting up the free mobile and herbal clinic at the Heck.house on August 13th from 1-4PM. The free clinic is staffed with local herbalists and all the herbal preparations are made by myself and apprentices. Visitors sit with one of the herbalists for about 20 minutes so that the herbalist can help the visitor get the herbal support they need. All the tincture blends on the Herb Cart are made with glycerin and/or apple cider vinegar. Only 3 items contain alcohol. We also offer salves\, teas\, herbs for teeth and feet\, and aromatics. Providers will also be offering Reiki\, Acupuncture and Mindfulness Meditation. \nThe event will take place outside\, in case of rain we will set-up under the pavilion. \nParking is on one side of Milton Street. \nThe list is full\, check back in a few weeks for the next time we will be there. In the meantime\, we will be setting up at Mercy Community Church on August 31st from 10AM-12:30PM. \nThe services are offered free of charge.
