DESCRIPTION:The Fleur + Forage Free Clinic set-up for the first time in March 2022 at Mercy Community Church. Since then we have expanded the amount of people we serve on a monthly basis. As of August 2024\, we have been setting up at 3 locations every month to offer free herbal remedies\, Reiki and acupuncture. \nThrough each set-up we build community as we interact with folks\, listening to their stories and needs. Sometime all the “medicine” they need is a listening hear\, other times it is an herbal preparation for XYZ or some acupuncture or Reiki. \nSeveral herbalists from Athens\, Ga have been traveling regularly to Atlanta to volunteer with us with a desire to create a similar model in their city. After many months of discussion and the Fleur + Forage Free Clinic becoming a 501c3 this summer\, we are making it a reality. On this December 3rd\, we are raising $5\,000 to buy the supplies and materials we need to create a new station (Ryobi toolbox set\, Tables\, Chairs\, Hot/Cold Tea Dispenser\, Tents as well as medicine making supplies). \nDonate using the QR code or by using this link \n \nThank you!

SUMMARY:First Aid Workshop Weekend #2
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a two weekend long (4 days) workshop this Fall. Marie-Lies and Lisa Mestas are partnering to teach a “make your own herbal first aid kit” + CPR/First Aid certification workshop. Students will create their own Herbal First Aid Kit with Marie-Lies and learn how to do First Aid and CPR with Lisa Mestas (and getting certified).\nWe will meet on September 28th\, September 29th\, October 26th and October 27th at the Fleur + Forage Herbal Studio[address given upon signing up; located right outside of Avondale Estates]. Each class will run from 10AM-3PM with a 1/2 hour lunch. \nA full description of the workshop and cost can be found here.
